Dental Health care, keeping your teeth healthy

Thursday, Sep. 16th 2010 10:41 AM

I am 26 and although I have dental insurance though work I really still do not like going to the dentist.  So I try and make sure that I never have any real dental issues.  I only go for my free twice a year cleaning and even that makes me a nervous wrake.

How can I make sure that I will never need more then a cleaning.  Be sides brushing and flossing is there anything else I an do for good oral health care?

There is no guarantee that you will not need more then just a basic cleaning. However, by doing your part it will help prevent larger dental needs.

So do brush two to three times a day for at least two minutes. Floss daily. Use mouthwash that has tarter control and gum care. And continue seeing your dentist at least twice a year.

By doing that your chances are good that you will not need more then your basic cleanings..
